Christian Faith under continuous Fire!

The U.S. military has confirmed that it destroyed some Bibles belonging to an American soldier serving in Afghanistan. According to Reuters News, the Bibles were confiscated and destroyed after Qatar-based Al Jazeer television showed soldiers at a Bible class on a base with a stack of Bibles translated into the local Pashto and Dari languages. The US military claims their personnel are not allowed to proselytize.
Lt. Col. Bob Maginnis (rtd), a Pentagon adviser and military and national security analyst finds it mind-boggling to think that military officials would allow Al Jazeera to walk through the front gate of a forward operating base and videotape soldiers conducting a Bible study. 22,000 people responded to a poll conducted by OneNewsNow on the issue, 63% of whom believe that if had been the Koran, the US military will never have dared to destroy the books. At least there would be a few local Christians who would have been blessed having the Bibles for their own personal studies.
